Avvo adds more options to fixed-fee legal services

News, Business, Money

Adding to their list of legal tools, Avvo recently introduced a new set of options within their existing suite of legal services, with 22 new services in the areas of Business & Employment. The new additions—mostly in the form of legal documents you can create with the assistance of a lawyer—are designed for people growing their business and hiring new employees, as well as professionals seeking preventative protection so they can pursue any job they like without legal concerns. These services bring the total number of available offerings in Avvo’s portfolio to 70, further expanding the company’s ability to empower consumers as they navigate the legal landscape.

The new services include:

Create an employment contract: Have a local, experienced attorney help draft your contract, and get start-to-finish assistance.

Create/review a non-disclosure agreements: Need an airtight NDA? Get a draft document to use, along with help from a local attorney (includes a 30-minute intro call), or have an existing document checked for holes.

Partnership agreements: A business lawyer will work with you to create your partnership agreement (or review an existing agreement) so that it meets the needs for your state and situation.

Avvo Legal Services is built upon the success of Avvo Advisor, which enables people to connect with the first available attorney in their area for a 15-minute advice session. Getting legal advice is now even easier, with a variety of options across not only business and employment, but also topics like real estate, immigration, and family/divorce planning. See all the new options by having a look at Business Legal Services and Employment Legal Services, or start from the top by going to the Services main page.
