World's largest online source of legal information now provides lawyer ratings and profiles for every state in the United States
Seattle, Wash — Avvo, Inc. (www.avvo.com), the world’s largest legal directory, announced today the availability of profiles and ratings for licensed attorneys in Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota and West Virginia. With the addition of these nine new states, Avvo now covers every state in the Unites States and the District of Columbia.

As a result of this expansion, people throughout the U.S. will have more information and better guidance to find the right lawyer in their specific area. They can also utilize Avvo Answers, a free question and answer forum, to post specific questions – anonymously if desired – about legal issues, and receive personalized answers from attorneys practicing in their state.
Avvo profiles include the Avvo Rating – a sophisticated and responsible system that evaluates the lawyers’ background, body of work and disciplinary records. Avvo also displays client reviews submitted by consumers and peer endorsements submitted by attorneys.
With this release, all of the licensed attorneys in the state of Missouri are now in Avvo’s legal database.
Lawyers in the other eight new states, who are not currently in the Avvo database, can easily create their profile through a simple submission process. After Avvo validates and confirms the lawyer’s status with the appropriate state bar, the profile will be included in Avvo’s directory and search results.
