With this release, Avvo now covers 90% of the licensed attorneys in the United States.
As a result of this expansion, people in Virginia have more information and better guidance to find the right lawyer in their area. Attorneys can claim their Avvo profiles on their own or via Avvo’s “Firm Claim” feature that allows multi-lawyer law firms to claim their lawyers’ profiles in one easy step. After claiming their profiles, attorneys or their administrators can update the Avvo profiles with as much information as they want, as often as they want. They can also endorse other lawyers in their network, participate in Avvo Answers and post legal guides specific to their practice area.
