Legal Marketing Conference Features Industry Experts, Dynamic Networking, and Actionable Insights on Digital Marketing and More during the 9th Annual Event Held May 21-23 at the Venetian Las Vegas
Seattle, Wash — Avvo®, Inc., today announced that Wendy Davis, American lawyer and politician, former Texas state senator, and founder of advocacy initiative Deeds Not Words, as the second keynote speaker at Lawyernomics 2018, its 9th annual legal marketing and business conference for lawyers. Dan Abrams, chief legal affairs anchor for ABC News and founder of LawNewz.com and news sites within the Abrams Media Network, will also deliver a keynote at the conference, which will be held May 21-23, 2018, at the Venetian Las Vegas.
Abrams and Davis will each touch on their unique and extensive careers as they relate their experiences to the everyday successes and challenges of serving clients navigating the justice system.
A storied legal analyst and news anchor, Abrams will provide insights into the pulse of consumer legal news for the Lawyernomics audience. He’ll discuss how content marketing can be a powerful tool in breaking down complex legal issues and connecting current and prospective clients with accessible legal solutions. Abrams delivers thought-provoking, in-the-moment analysis of legal issues that affect American citizens, political figures, and the world as the founder of the Abrams Media Network, which includes Mediaite.com, TheMarySue.com, LawNewz.com, RunwayRiot.com and TheBraiser.com.
With a career in public service spanning three decades and a background in practicing law, Davis will share her passion for advocacy and her insights into the socially conscious consumer with the legal industry. A former Texas state senator and candidate for governor of Texas, she’s the founder of Deeds Not Words, an advocacy initiative that empowers women and champions equal rights, education, and social justice for minority and LGBTQ communities.
Abrams and Davis will join Avvo founder and CEO Mark Britton on the main stage, who will speak about the current and future state of the legal industry, and building connections between consumers and lawyers.
“As the consumer market becomes increasingly segmented – by social behaviors, media consumption, device usage, and so on – it’s more important than ever that lawyers understand the needs of legal consumers,” Britton said. “By building connections with industry experts and peers, lawyers can stay ahead of these changing demands and better serve their clients. Lawyernomics 2018 equips attorneys with actionable insights to help them form strong relationships within their network and grow their businesses. We’re thrilled to be bringing a diverse and accomplished class of legal industry thought leaders together, and look forward to bridging connections for all in attendance.”
Lawyernomics attendees can expect educational sessions on client relations, reputation management, content marketing, social media, practice management, SEO, legal technology, and digital marketing, as well as interactive demonstrations of the latest Avvo products for lawyers. The conference will bring in additional experts in legal marketing to share personal success stories during breakout sessions and panels. Avvo will provide several hands-on resources to help attendees grow their practice in the onsite Avvo Lab, including professional headshots, Avvo profile optimization, website audits, and more. This year, attendees will have expanded opportunities to connect with other thought leaders – during Avvo-hosted practice area-focused discussions, a welcome reception at the Venetian Las Vegas’ Palazzo Foyer & Ballroom, and a networking event at TAO Asian Bistro and Nightclub.
Lawyernomics 2018 is expected to sell out for the fifth year in a row. Early bird pricing is now available through February 28, 2018. To register or to learn more, please visit the Lawyernomics 2018 website at www.lawyernomics2018.com.
