University of Washington students partner with Avvo

Avvo recently teamed up with graduate students from the University of Washington’s Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering. These students selected Avvo Advisor for their research project; we are so honored to have been chosen!

The purpose of this research was to understand our users’ overall experience, usage patterns, and collective pain points. The team collected data through in-person interviews and think-aloud task completion studies to find usability issues. Based on their findings, the team ultimately made several recommendations for product enhancements.

Avvo Advisor is designed for people who need access to personalized legal help, quickly, and this research will help Avvo Advisor be the simplest, most affordable way to get the legal help our users need.

Thank you, UW HCDE, and special thanks to University of Washington’s HCDE 517 students: Sanny Lin, Jaime Park, Julia Chamberlain, and Heather Larson. Your work is appreciated!
