On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law. It’s been over two years since the Affordable Care Act became law, and almost two weeks since the Supreme Court confirmed that the law is constitutional.
Now, you might be asking yourself, what does that mean, the law is constitutional, and how does this affect me? Basically, this is good news and means that the Affordable Care Act as signed into law will remain. A lot of changes have and will be made in phases to the way we all get health insurance but basically, the law is intended to ensure that all families get the healthcare they need.
Still confused? I had a hunch that people might still confused by the Supreme Court’s health care decision so I decided to find out for myself if this was actually the case. I asked some people around my neighborhood in Los Angeles what they think of the ruling, and they told me in this video. Be sure to watch the video to hear how I explain the four key parts, and be sure to let me know what you think.
