Sheen contends that he told all of his sexual partners of his condition, that he had unprotected sex after the diagnosis only twice, and that it was “under the care of my doctor and they were completely warned ahead of time.” This raises interesting legal issues about a person’s criminal and civil culpability for exposing a sexual partner to the virus.
AvvoStories recently posed a series of questions to renowned relationship expert and sexologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, asking her to weigh in on the current state of romance, marriage, and divorce in the midst of societal and technological change. Throughout the country, a correlation seems to exist between the populace’s faith in police and their attitudes toward gun ownership. The Northeast, with its overall belief in the ability of authorities tasked with public safety, has the lowest gun ownership rates in the country: 19% of people in the Northeast own a gun, compared to 29% each in the Midwest and West and 30% in the South.

It seems the kids are alright…with not being monogamous. That’s probably not what The Who meant exactly back in 1965, but here in 2015, a new study by Avvo shows that 51% of adults aged 18-23 are not “morally opposed” to being in an open relationship.
The data show a total of 94,550 accidents involving both a DUI and a death nationwide since 2004. Many of these accidents occur on the interstates and highways running through the most rural areas of the country. These major roadways are less numerous than local street or county roads and often run through much less populated areas. Yet despite rural roads being less populated, an NHTSA study shows that crashes in rural areas account for 54% of the associated fatalities.
