Seattle, Wash — Avvo® Inc., the leading online legal marketplace connecting lawyers and consumers, today announced it has hired Trent Tucker as VP of Sales. He will report to Eric Dahlberg, Chief Revenue Officer.
With experience in developing and leading sales teams at both established companies and start-ups, Tucker was most recently the VP of Sales at Minds + Machines, a Seattle company that commercializes top-level domains. Prior to Minds + Machines, Tucker built the wholesale and retail sales teams at Rightside, and ran their customer support/technical support division. He also spent 14 years at Zones, a provider of IT hardware, software, and services to Fortune 500 companies.
At Avvo, Tucker will oversee the Account Executive and Attorney Advocate organizations within the sales group, which support lawyers in marketing and business growth on the Avvo platform. “I am excited to join a company that has a mission to provide quality legal help to everyone,” Tucker said, “and to help further grow the Avvo sales and support teams to a world-class level.”

Tucker holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) from the University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business, and received his Bachelors in Business Administration from Washington State University. Outside of work, Tucker enjoys playing golf, soccer, drums, and spending time with his family.
